    Mike Watson is the Director of Interiors at A+ Design Group with over 18 years experience in hotel design. Prior to joining A+ Design Group he was the Practice Director of one of Australia’s leading hotel design practice, CHADA for 14 years.

    Mike practiced as an architect in Australia and London before deciding to specialize in hotel and resort design. His architectural background equips him with strong master-planning skills and the ability to manage complex projects without compromising the design outcome. He has traveled widely and brings these life-shaping experiences to his work.

    Embracing new ideas is a core value which continues to define his work. His commitment to design excellence coupled with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving is essential in an industry that sees hotel brands continually trying to outdo each other.

    Mike has headed up major projects in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Fiji. He has worked with most of the international hotel brands including IHG, Westin, W Hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, Shangri-La and Emirates.
